Family fun with a safety message

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Maranda Park Parties wouldn’t be such a huge success without the support of partners and businesses in the communities they serve. One of them is EPS Security.

EPS Security will be at Smith Ryerson Park in Muskegon for the Maranda Park Party on Thursday, July 24. They offer fingerprint ID kits. Families can take them home, fingerprint their children, do some activities in the booklet, and if something should happen, parents have something to give law enforcement. McGruff the Crime Dog will be at the party to meet and greet children.

The Maranda Park Party in Muskegon is from noon until 2 p.m., with a free lunch for anyone 18 and under starting at 11:30 a.m., while supplies last. Get there early for a good parking spot. Be sure to use Wood Street from Apple or Marquette for parking. Sumner Avenue will only be open to eastbound traffic.
