Tornado victims need additional help-here’s how

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) The storm and tornado that ripped through southern metro Grand Rapids on the night of July 6th-caused millions of dollars in damage to private property in Kentwood and Wyoming. Residents have been cleaning up ever since — and there’s still a long way to go.

This is a long process-and it’s important to have as many hands on board as possible. There are several ways to get involved. The community is asked to volunteer their time in groups. Church and school groups can volunteer in the clean up by calling (762) 333-1534. Or text HELPWM to the number 36729.
