Crafts for kids, face painting, raffle items, food, music, and games and contests for the animals! Lunch available for purchase from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free!

Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Kids Bike Race, Grand Rapids

Open to all children nine and under. Registration is free! Bike plate souvenirs, medals, and t-shirts will be given out for all participants! All children need to provide their own bicycle (Big Wheels and tricycles are acceptable). Helmets must be worn. Registration and number pickup starts at 1 p.m. Race starts at 3 p.m. Free helmets given away starting at 1 p.m.

A Sleeping Beauty Somewhere in Time, Aquinas College, Grand Rapids

A new take on the classic fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty. Tickets $10-$12. Special Royal Coronation Ball at 1 p.m. Dine on royal treats, decorate crowns, and more! Reservations required. $25 for kids 5 – 12 years old. $15 for adults.
