Smart, Simple Beverage Swaps

Cranberry Pomegranate juice cocktail vs. Orange juice

  • Juice cocktails contain only 15% actual juice and have added sugars. Swap it for 100% juice and you will save 10 calories and eight grams of sugar per eight ounce glass.

Vitamin water and Powerade/Gatorade vs. water

  • Sports drinks and flavored waters contain extra sugars and artificial ingredients. Swap them for water and save up to 200 calories and 52.5 grams of sugar.

Sprite vs. carbonated water with fresh squeezed lemon and lime

  • Soft drinks are loaded with sugar and artificial flavorings. Swap them for carbonated water with lemon or lime and save 240 calories and 64 grams of sugar.
