GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Sinas Dramis Law Firm and the Brain Injury Association of Michigan have teamed up to host the first annual Lids For Kids Bike Helmet Giveaway and Bike Safety Event. The event will promote bike safety by fitting and distributing free bike helmets to children ages 4 – 12 in the Grand Rapids area.
Trained volunteers will fit and distribute free bike helmets to children ages 4-12. Kids can meet Grand Rapids firefighters, check out a fire engine, register for a free bike license, and ride in a kid-friendly bike obstacle course. Children may also enter a free drawing to win bikes, passes to the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum, Grand Rapids Public Museum, and Grand Rapids Art Museum and certificates to other area food and entertainment venues.
