Be part of the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson

HOLLAND, Mich. (WOTV) If you and your family love swimming and want to be a part of the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson, it’s time to head to the Holland Community Aquatic Center!

In 2013, the World’s Largest Swimming Record was set with 32,450 participants hosted by 432 facilities in 163 countries. The Holland Community Aquatic Center hosted more than 120 of them and received an award for hosting the most people in Michigan. This year, they’re planning to have more than 200 participants for the 2014 World’s Largest Swimming Record on Friday, June 20.

The World’s Largest Swimming Record is open to the general public to come be part of this fun event. Participants must register, and children five and younger will need an adult in the water with them. The event starts at 11 a.m., but participants should arrive no later than 10:30 a.m. to get through check-in and have a group picture taken.
