Secrets of a rodeo queen

ROCKFORD, Mich. (WOTV) Chloe, a senior at Big Rapids High School, is the Michigan High School Rodeo Queen. She’s been riding horses since before she was born, when her mother rode while pregnant for her. Chloe got her first pony at the age of five, and has been participating in 4-H since then. She participated in many horse activities since then, and decided she wanted to try rodeo last year. She participates in roping, barrel racing, goat tying, pole bending, and shooting. Chloe is now planning to attend West Texas A&M University to study equine industry and business.

Chloe joins Maranda at the Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding to show her the proper way to pet a horse and even how to rope!
