Hands-on family fun at the Lakeshore Museum

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOTV) A great place to take the family is the Lakeshore Museum Center in Muskegon. It has exhibits that feature the history of the Muskegon area, including mastodons, Native American history, the Industrial Revolution, and migrant farms.

Kids can also explore the habitats and animals that used to live in Michigan before and during the Ice Age in the exhibit, “Michigan: From the Depths of Time.” There are also two activity rooms where kids can have some hands-on fun.

The museum is free and open weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to noon and on weekends from noon until 4 p.m.
