You can buy sand dollars and shells at your local craft store, or have the kids gather some up on your next vacation. Drill a hole in the sand dollar and insert a clock mechanism. Kids can glue smaller shells onto the sand dollar for the numbers on the clock. It’s a fun craft that will keep the kids busy and is far less expensive than a similar item sold at a souvenir shop.
