maranda-wide receiver secrets football

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Football season is over right now, but practice never stops. Student players can get some hands-on coaching from former NFL player Carlton Brewster, founder of Wide Receiver Secrets.

Brewster played at Creston High School and went to Ferris State University. He went on to play in the NFL for more than two years. He started Wide Receiver Secrets because of a lack of development for the wide receiver position. He teaches fundamentals and techniques on the field, such as the proper stance and way to catch the football. Then the program moves into the classroom, where students learn coverage.
