Visit Grand Rapids museums for free

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) There’s a great chance for you to get the whole family out and see four major museums in downtown Grand Rapids! Sunday, May 4, is Museums Free 4 All. Grand Rapids Public Museum, Grand Rapids Art Museum, Grand Rapids Children’s Museum, and Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum will all open their doors for free from noon to 5 p.m.

This is the third year Amway has sponsored Museums Free 4 All. Once again, they will be hosting family-friendly activities and giving away prizes on the GRAM’s Wege Plaza.

This year, guests can get a “passport” at the Amway tent on Wege Plaza or at any of the four museums. Each museum will have a stamp or sticker to mark the guest’s visit. Then the guest can turn in the passport at the Amway tent to get a prize.

Free shuttles will be running near each museum location on Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
