Making wishes come true

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) With a little training and the help of a wonderful organization, a West Michigan boy’s wish came true to become a Jedi.

Brody was born with chronic kidney disease. Just before he turned three, he was hospitalized with a bladder infection and ended up needing a kidney transplant at age 3 ½. Now, Brody is a happy five-year-old and is doing well.

Brody got the chance to live his dream through Make-A-Wish. He said he wanted to become a Jedi, so they sent him to a Disney theme park and went to the Jedi Training Academy.
