For the first time since the doors opened at Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids and Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit, both organizations will come together to Zumba® along with supporters of both cancer support organizations. Zumba® Jammer Aimee Sharpe-Raatz from Michigan and Zumba® Jammer Mauricio Camargo from Florida along with Zumba® Jammer Candidates Maria E Zapata-Sobojinski and Ria Martin, both from Michigan,  will lead those in attendance, along with more than 30 local instructors.

The 90 minutes Zumbathon® will begin at 6.30 p.m. with registration beginning at 5 p.m. Shemane Nugent, fitness expert, and author of “Married to a Rock Star,” will take the stage at 6 p.m. to present “50 is the new 30: Epic Healing, Health & Happiness at any age.” The registration fee is $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
