A powerful performance for Easter

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Many churches across West Michigan are celebrating Easter with special services and performances. Blythefield Hills Baptist Church in Rockford is putting on an extraordinary performance called “The Resistance.”

“The Resistance” is based on the book by Diet Eman, “Things We Couldn’t Say.” The play follows her story from when she was a child to when she meets her fiancé at age 17, and their experiences through World War II. The message is about love and how you can hold onto your faith even in extreme situations.

“The Resistance” is April 17, 18, and 19 at 7 p.m. and April 19 at 2 p.m. at Blythefield Hills Baptist Church in Rockford. You can find more information on the performance online.
