GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) The “Dream It, Build It” exhibit at the Grand Rapids Public Museum has young imaginations soaring! It features 13 world-famous buildings constructed of Legos. They were created by Adam Reed Tucker, one of 12 certified Lego professionals in the world. Third grade students from Hope Academy of West Michigan came out to learn about the architecture and history of icons like the Empire State Building, the Gateway Arch of St. Louis, and more. Each building took 60 to 90 hours to create, and include between 10,000 and 450,000 individual Legos.
After visiting the exhibit, kids can use Legos to create their own masterpieces. The exhibit is included with general admission to the museum. It runs through August 31.
