GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) April 2 is National Walking Day, and one program that’s encouraging kids to get moving is the Feelin’ Good Mileage Club. The official kick-off took place at Godfrey Lee Elementary School in Wyoming.

Fifty thousand kids are participating in the program this year. Through their school, they get a box of cool stuff, then they walk, run, or jog for punches on a card that they can redeem for prizes. If they log five miles on the card, they can participate in Fifth Third Junior for free.

The Fifth Third River Bank Run is on Saturday, May 10. The Junior Events take place on Wednesday, May 7.

You can win a Fifth Third River Bank Run family prize pack! One lucky family will win four entries to the race of their choice, plus a Fifth Third River Bank Run cinch bag, and two-in-one tumbler. Click here to register to win!
