Petty Officer Second Class David John Warsen, a U.S. Navy SEAL was killed in a helicopter crash northeast of Kandarhar, Afghanistan on August 16, 2012. David died fighting for what he believed in, among his brothers-in-arms. The David Warsen Legacy non-profit group was started by David’s family and friends to honor his life through good deeds in the community. Anything from scholarships for graduating high school students, to funding young soccer players, and creating care packages for currently deployed Navy SEALs. This month, the Social Charity Club of Grand Rapids is inviting you to pay tribute to the David Warsen Legacy at Perrin Brewing Company.
