GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) There are a lot of things to consider when it comes to preparing your child for school. One of those is whether he or she is emotionally prepared for school. Parents may also need some help when it comes to the transition. Dr. Daniel Post from Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services joins Maranda in studio to answer some of these questions:
- How do you know if your child is emotionally ready?
- How, as a parent, can you get emotionally ready and release your child?
- If your child has anxiety, how do you deal with or ease that anxiety?
- What if you suspect your child has some learning disabilities or emotional disorders?
