GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) If your kids love to build, they probably enjoy playing with Legos. The Grand Rapids Public Museum has a new exhibit called “Dream It, Build It.” The exhibit is made up of 13 structures made entirely of Legos. You can see famous landmarks like the Empire State Building and the Gateway Arch of St. Louis. They were constructed by one of 12 certified Lego professionals in the world, Adam Reed Tucker. He offers his best advice on building with Legos, using techniques to build in two different directions, make different shapes, and think of new uses for basic elements.
When you’re done checking out the amazing structures at “Dream It, Build It,” you can use your inspiration to build something for yourself. This hands-on exhibit will be fun for all ages, from kids to parents.
Admission to the exhibition is included with general admission to the museum. It runs through August 31, 2014.
