GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) March 20, 2014 is Absolutely Incredible Kid Day. The day was started 15 years ago by Camp Fire, a national youth organization.

Absolutely Incredible Kid Day honors children by asking adults to write letters to the kids in their lives, telling them why they’re incredible. The gesture is meant to encourage and inspire children and let them know why they’re special. The goal is for every child in America to receive a letter. Anyone can participate – parents, siblings, grandparents, teachers, coaches, etc.

Congress Elementary School in Grand Rapids held an assembly for Absolutely Incredible Kid Day, led by Maranda. At the assembly, each child received their own letter.
