GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) There is a program in West Michigan that teaches teens about how they want to be treated in a relationship.
RAVE stands for Resources Against Violent Encounters. It’s a program by Family Futures, which goes into classrooms to talk about dating violence and what kids can do to keep themselves safe. The students read through real-life scenarios and decide what they would do in that situation, and what is okay and what isn’t. They also learn about resources in case they or someone they know is in an unhealthy relationship.
