The healing power of laughter

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) We’ve all heard that laughter is good medicine, and that’s the idea behind LaughFest. The annual comedy event in Grand Rapids raises money for Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids. One of the West Michigan kids who’s benefited from the services at Gilda’s Club is Lydia, who started going there when her father was diagnosed with cancer. Maranda sits down with Lydia to hear what Gilda’s Club means to her, as well as Joanne Roehm from LaughFest with a look at the fun family-friendly activities happening this weekend!
