The value of homework

hope

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Maranda stops by Hope Academy to talk to a third grade class about homework. Their teacher, Mr. West, says the students usually have a half hour to an hour of homework each night. He says homework functions as practice so the students become proficient in their studies. He works with his students on a calendar of homework assignments so they know what’s expected of them and so parents know what needs to be done each night. Hear what some of the students told Maranda about how they feel about homework.
