GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) The fun is never ending at the Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City.
Each night at 8 p.m., the lobby comes alive for story time! Character friends come out to play and guests are encouraged to wear their pajamas to hear a bedtime story. At other times in the day, you can find events like hula hoop contests, face painting, and balloon animals in the lobby.
Each morning, there is a Wolf Walk, which is like a nature hike around the lobby. Guests can learn about different animals and how to do the Great Wolf howl. Afterward, they learn how to make an origami wolf that they can take home. There is also a junior lifeguard program each morning. Kids of all ages can come in and meet a Great Wolf Lodge lifeguard and learn scanning techniques, how to jump into the water, and how to rescue a swimmer in distress.
The Cub Club offers books, games, toys, and puzzles for toddlers all the way to teens. Kids can stop by any time to hang out and relax and do a craft. Some of the arts and crafts include painting projects, sand art, and tie-dying.
The arcade at Great Wolf Lodge has more than 100 games. Guests can earn tickets that can be redeemed at the counter for prizes that range from candy to scooter bikes.
