Finishing touches make a great meal

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Chef Jen joins Maranda in the Meijer Innovation Center to show three West Michigan men how to prepare and elegant meal just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Jim DeWindt prepared an amuse-bouche, which is like a one-bite appetizer. It’s a cracker with goat cheese and cranberry with candied kumquats.

Tommy from Star 105.7 made seared salmon with lentils and barley and a bouquet of vegetables, finished with a buerre blanc sauce.

Chris “Daddy D” DeYoung prepared crème brulee with carmelized sugar and topped with blackberries and raspberries.
