Tommy from Star 105.7 learns how to prepare salmon on a bed of ancient grains. The grains are lentils and barley, and you can cook them in the same way that you would make pasta. A beautiful way to prepare a side of vegetables is by making a bouquet. Slice some vegetables up into sticks and tie them with a softened leek, then blanche them in boiling water for a few minutes. The salmon can be browned in a pan and baked in the oven. Finish off the dish with beurre blanc, which is a white butter sauce.
