Up close with some wild friends

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) The John Ball Zoo is partnering with Frederik Meijer Gardens for a special exhibit called “Animal Adventures: Surviving in the Wild.” The event allows participants to explore the survival techniques of a bird, mammal, and reptile. You can watch live animal presentations, listen to interactive animal stories, and play animal games. It’s perfect for children ages three to six, but all ages are welcome.

“Animal Adventures: Surviving in the Wild” is on Saturday, February 1 and Saturday, February 15, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. It’s $5 for members and $7 for non-members. Reservations are required. Call Meijer Gardens at (616) 974-5239 or John Ball Zoo at (616) 336-4310.
