GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Bullying can come in all shapes and forms. One person who’s trying to spread the message against bullying is Flight Time, of the Harlem Globetrotters.
He paid a visit to the Kroc Center in Grand Rapids to talk to kids about the ABCs of bullying. They are:
A for Action. Sometimes kids think it’s bad to tell if they see something happen. But if they tell a parent or other adult, they can prevent a kid from being hurt.
B for Bravery. Stand up to the bully. Say something if you see bullying happen. You could always take action by telling an adult.
C for Compassion. Sometimes the kids who are being bullied don’t have a lot of friends. Have compassion and try to get to know them. You may have more in common than you think.
