Everyone knows lavender smells good but have you ever considered drinking it as a tea? Consuming lavender tea can reduce fatigue caused by stress, relieve headaches and soothe an upset stomach.
Lavender has long been highly regarded in the skin and beauty industry and its aromatic properties are known to decrease conditions such as depression, insomnia, anxiety and restlessness.
To make lavender tea, simply infuse a handful of dried lavender blossoms in a pot of boiling water. Let the tea steep for about 7 to 10 minutes. Then strain and enjoy. Lavender tea can also be brewed with a mixture of mint or green tea. If you want a different flavor, honey, sugar and lemon can be added to make it more special.
