Michele Fife is the WOTV 4 Women wellness expert focusing on natural health, a plant based diet and yoga. She is the creator of Seva Yoga, a studio located in East Grand Rapids where she continues to teach and connect with women from across West Michigan. She is also the Director of the Seva Yoga Teacher training school, helping others on the Yogic path.
“I love being able to participate in the process of positive change! It has been such a blessing to me over the years to actually watch and get to know so many bright souls as they embark upon a wellness journey.”
She lives a Yogic lifestyle with her husband Jon, teenage daughter Mia and three cats. In addition to practicing yoga you can find Michele enjoying cooking and entertaining in her kitchen or exploring diverse cultures. Her love of learning never stops and as a WOTV 4 Women expert she hopes to share information and tips based on her own life experiences, trials and successes.
On of her most memorable experiences in her field was getting to be part of a medical research project, YOCAS. For two years she met with cancer survivors and gave them Yoga as a way to help and heal. Being a witness to this healing process and being able to make this personal connection is something she says she’ll never forgot.
In March 2013 Michele created and filmed her first Yoga dvd – SIT. For most ages, body types and health conditions, SIT is a unique 60-minute yoga session Michele has developed utilizing a chair within the workout that serves as a balance support so your body can relax into a deeper stretch and allow for better focus. This session can be enjoyed in full or in part while at home, the office, anywhere.
“I strive at home and in the world to live naturally and leave a tiny footprint on the earth with a great big heart.”
