“Every day is a new adventure for me! Everyday I get to help people realize that they CAN cook, that they can love food, and that it can be so much fun to be in the kitchen!”
Amy brings to the table a true belief that there is room at the table for everyone! She is all about empowering a healthy love of good food from everyone she meets. She strives to get people to understand what good food is and how to make it for your family!
“If I can get just one person to get in the kitchen, and cook healthy, accessible, honest food for their family, then I’ve succeeded. I’m not into extremes, or diets, or crazy ways of eating. I’m into balance, moderation, and deriving joy from eating great things. That makes for a happy life.”
Amy Sherman has BA in sociology and political science from Aquinas College (Go Saints!) She founded the West Michigan Slow Food chapter here in Grand Rapids and is a member of the Pussycat Beer Guild. She loves reaching out to the community and giving people the opportunity to love food and become great cooks.
